Here I sit in Dubai International Airport waiting for my flight to Kolkata...I have been away from home for more than thirty five hours now...the time is twenty to twelve here and my flight only leaves at two AM. I have finished reading the book  I brought with me by stDeborah Moggagh entitled Final Demand.  It was too good to put down. So I bought a new book by Thrity Umrigar entitled First Darling of the Morning: selected memories of an Indian childhood...not bad.  But it only serves to make me long to set foot on Indian soil once more.  Not much longer...
